Gary

Gary’s fitness journey started out as an overweight kid, envying how other kids could fit into nice clothing. One day upon seeing a recruitment flyers in school, he then decided to join the school’s dragonboat team to “get in shape” and that changes his life totally. He has always been the slowest and the weakest in the team but however his determinations and dedications to catch up made him to where he is today. Gary worked very hard and grew passion in this sports and eventually advance further into the Singapore National Dragonboat Team where he can train with the best.

Gary is currently now an IPF approved Powerlifter competing locally under the 59kg category and winning his first gold medal on his first competition in the Singapore powerlifting invitational 2015 where international lifters gather to show case their strength.

With numbers of injury during his sports he grew interest in both prehab (preventing injuries) and rehab (recovering from injuries) where he started learning and reading up on injuries and from there decide to take up sports massage under one his wing in his career. Currently Gary is working with a Physio taking care of clients after injuries.

Gary strongly believes that “as long you put your heart into achieving something and never giving up, results will come naturally and with proper guidance the path will be clearer.”
